It may be costly to summon but you know that it is worthwhile due to its ability to destroy any permanent in play. It is best to summon Angel of Despair after your opponent has given the creature he’s planning to destroy you with its buffs. Simply introduce Angel of Despair to the game and your opponent’s road killer becomes the road kill.
