Did you know that Venom was able to produce an offspring that eventually became a villain on its own? Carnage actually came from Venom and was apparently of a greater evil force. It was left behind after Venom has re-bonded itself to Eddie Brock who was then locked in prison after it was defeated by Spiderman.
Carnage bound itself on Eddie Brock’s cellmate, Cletus Kasady who was a serial killer before he went to prison. After he became Carnage, he blasted-out of prison to wreak havoc and continuously murder people – regardless of the reason.
Carnage was first introduced in the comics in 1991 and reappeared once more in 1992. He was ranked to be the 90th greatest comic book villain of all time. This is one of the reasons that his action figures have become a must-have among collectors. This is also a fond item to have among Spiderman fans – no matter how old they are.
Contrary to Venom who appears to be all black and would rarely have white trim around his suit, Carnage is known for his red and black suit. He is presented to have the same appearance as that of Spiderman (in terms of form). This villain is particularly known for his elongated claws and sharp teeth or fangs.
