Conan action figures are inspired by the Hyborian legends originally written by Robert E. Howard. Some characters from TV shows, movies, TV cartoons and comic books would be exclusive to a singular company while others can have different versions. Conan the Barbarian has several lines of action figures. This is ideal for collectors because they would have a wide selection of figures to choose from. Conan has figures from both Neca Toys and Spawn McFarlane. From Neca Toys, the variations of Conan include Temple of the Serpent Conan, Battle Helmet Pit Fighter Conan and Exclusive Conan the Barbarian Bronze. From Conan the Barbarian Action Figure Series 1, there is Pit fighter Conan with Double Axe and War Paint Conan.
Other than the action figures from Neca Toys, there are also action figures from Spawn Macfarlane. This would include Pallantides of The Black Dragon, Man-Eating Haunter of The Pits, Svadun and Conan the Warrior. From McFarlane Conan Series 1, characters such as Conan Indomitable, Skifell and Conan of Cimmeria are some of the action figures that collectors may find interesting. These are 6-inch action figures that come in clamshell packaging. There is also the Darkhorse Conan PVC Box Set with Conan, The Frost Giant’s Daughter. This has a boxed packaging and the action figures included are three to five inches. While there would be action figures on sale, those that are bought in mint condition can be more valuable in the future. However, it still depends on what the collectors have in mind for their action figures if they can do without the packaging.
