Tim Burton is known for his stories of fantasy and horror so it was no surprise when he released another movie combining love and the occult. The Corpse Bride is a story of a young man named Victor who is to be forcefully engaged to Victoria. He finds out that Victoria is the love of his life but this story doesn’t end in happily ever after just yet. Victor accidentally becomes engaged to an unwed corpse bride named Emily. Who will Victor marry, the dead or the living?

McFarlane toys licensed the Corpse Bride action figures. They created the figures in exact likeness to specific scenes in the movie. The Corpse Bride, Victor, Victoria, Napoleon Bonesapart, Skeleton Boy and Girl and General Wellington are available. They were released in November 2005 and are around 6 inches tall. They come in a clamp shell packaging. They include specific outfits and surroundings similar to that of the movie. The corpse bride comes in her signature wedding dress as well as a bouquet of flowers. The other figurines like Victor’s and Victoria’s come with bases including a globe and some books. The toys are in exact likeness of the characters in the film.
