Nothing can beat the excitement of a game where everyone is under time pressure, and Cranium puts a premium on this factor with the release of the Cranium Hoopla.

Cranium Hoopla is a fun brain contest between teams that involves a mix of different mechanics of traditional guessing games. Each player of the team will be given cards that contain the names of popular people, places, and objects. The goal of the player is to make the team guess the content of the cards through various clue modes.

Clue modes include cloodle, which means the player has to draw or sketch the answer in the cards; tongue-tied, which requires the use of alliterations to suggest the mystery words; soundstage, wherein the player has to act out the content of the card; and tweener, wherein clue can be given through the formula phrase, it is bigger than blank and smaller than blank.

Cranium Hoopla requires the teams and players to take turns in rolling a die in order to identify the kind of clue mode to be done. The box includes a timer, which each player must start and stop before and after the guessing duration. The team who guesses the most number of mystery items in 15 minutes wins.
