Darth Maul is a fictional character in the Star Wars saga. Darth Maul is from the Zabrak specie and is the apprentice to the dark sith Lord Darth Vader. In Star Wars episode 1, Darth Vader is sent by Darth Vader to capture Amidala making him the main antagonist. Darth Maul has also appeared in various other Star Wars franchises and the Expanded Universe.
