Doc the Dwarf from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is considered to be the leader of the group. He is depicted as the most firm and reliable of the dwarfs and when an important decision is to be made, the group always turns to him. This is evident in his occupation in the diamond mine, for he is the one deciding which diamonds are of the highest value. Doc is the one signaling if it is time to go and is often first in line, guiding the dwarfs on their way home. He is the one who decides that Snow White stays with them and uses their beds, much to Grumpy’s despair. Since Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is one of the most successful animated films of all time, merchandise began sprouting, including school supplies, apparels, and even Disney Doc the Dwarf Plush.
Disney Doc the Dwarf Plush is lifelike, complete with spectacles portraying Doc’s smartness and precise judgment. It even has Doc’s red tunic and brown hat and his short beard. His appearance may be confused with that of Happy, as they are both pot bellied and rotund, but Doc’s plushie has his air of authority over the dwarfs, including Grumpy who grumps just about anything and everything.
Disney Doc the Dwarf Plush of Snow White’s seven dwarfs are sold separately but why not collect all seven and line them up as they sing the “Heigh Ho” and relive the fantasy that has been part of culture all these years? They’ll be quite a sight.
