The Disney Finding Nemo Dory Plush is based on Dory, the adorable blue surgeonfish companion of Marlin the clownfish (in the movie Finding Nemo) as he looks for his missing son Nemo. They first meet while he tries to chase the boat where Nemo was taken. Dory agrees to help Marlin and he follows her, but she is suffering from short-term memory loss and soon, she forgets that she was supposed to help Marlin. He is disappointed at first, but Dory proves to be the best help that he could ever have as they traveled across the ocean to get his son back. With Dory’s natural comic talent, Marlin’s adventure is full of laughs despite the danger. Even though she forgets a lot of things, she is very supportive of Marlin until the very end. What makes Dory so lovable is her friendly attitude, and because of this, the two friends are able to ask help from a lot of sea creatures until Marlin finally finds his son Nemo. (Actually, it is Dory who finds Nemo first.)
