Who doesn’t know Goku? You know, that monkey-tailed chubby boy who looks nowhere near his 13 years (or maybe that’s just the way it is in the anime world), who wields a magic stick and a flying cloud. In Dragon Ball Z, years after the first series, he suddenly discovered his birthright – that of his being a powerful alien. He was actually a Saiyan who can turn into a super, well, Saiyan. He was sent to Earth as an infant with a mission to conquer the planet when he grows up or grows strong enough, whichever comes first. And oh, he lost the tail as well.
Anyway, instead of reducing the planet to star dust, he instead became this super nice guy whose only desire is to protect the planet at any cost — even his own life. Helping him with his battles is a number of characters, and we do mean characters. Bulma, with her temperamental attitude, still managed to be the ultimate support character. Krillin is Goku’s eternal best friend who marries an android. Vegeta is an enemy-turned-ally who nurses a secret envy (which he actually isn’t good at hiding) for Goku’s strength. Trunks is the time-traveling son of Bulma and Vegeta. Gohan is Goku’s little boy who fortunately managed to inherit his father’s niceness and power. Of course, Piccolo is still there; he is, however, now, an invaluable ally.
DragonBall Z is one of the most successful animes of all time. It began airing in Japan in April 1989 and ran for 291 episodes until its culmination in January 1996. It enjoys wide viewership until this day. It has remained a popular choice among fans of the fighting genre. Kamehameha, anyone?
Ive got some good party tips from this. Halloween is gonna be a scary one! Cheers
