J. R. R. Tolkien’s Novels and the films of the Lord of the Rings series brought great fascination to readers and viewers alike. The fictional story brings together different mythological creatures such as hobbits, elves, dwarves and humans as well to strive peace to one world. One of the characters in this story is Gandalf, a wizard.
In the first installment of the movie, he was known as Gandalf the Grey, the last of the Istaris to set foot on middle-earth. He was perceived to have less power than the antagonist Saruman did. He appears in a grey robe with grey hair. Later on he became Gandalf the white where he was able to prove and present that he, indeed had the inner greatest and wisdom.
His action figures were collected from when he was still depicted to be grey until such time that he became Gandalf the white. The Gandalf the grey action figures presented him in a dark grey robe with a wooden staff and a sword. When he became Gandalf the white, his hair, beard and robe were perfectly white and some action figures came with his white horse. The overall facial appearance of all action figures was relatively similar with the signature prominent widow’s peak .
