Geomag is the brand name of a toy construction set. It is made up of magnetic rods and chromed steel spheres. Using these two materials, you magnetically connect them together to form geometric patterns, structures and shapes.
It was first created in 1998 and has become increasingly popular over the years. It is considered to be an executive toy. By definition, an executive toy is usually a useless but stylish item normally placed on an office desk.
In 2009, Geomag expanded its line of toys to include varieties like Gbaby, Geomag Kids and Geomag Pro. Gbaby is for babies as young as 10 moths old. Geomag Kids are suitable for kids aged 6 years and above. The Geomag Pro is similar to the classic variety but has more color schemes instead of the traditional gray.
