Ghostbusters is an American science fiction comedy movie first released in 1984 starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Sigourney Weaver. This flick is about a bunch of recently unemployed parapsychologists who dives into misadventures in the paranormal world. This movie is one of the top grossing movies of all time.
Another Ghostbusters film was released in 1989 and it was also warmly welcomed. Ever since the two films were released in the big screen, their popularity has not wavered, instead, they have become an inspiration to a lot of movies with the same theme and storyline.
