In 2003, Walt Disney released the family movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Its lead character was a pirate known in the name of Jack Sparrow. In the film, actor Johnny Depp portrayed a character that was able to deliver it in the most quirky and unconventional thought of a pirate that we could ever imagine. Preceding its success, Jack Sparrow reappeared in the two sequels Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End.
Jack Sparrow was a pirate captain who kept on embarking on quests for great treasure. He crossed paths with Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann who became constant companions in his misadventures. He wore a rather unusual pirate outfit. His hair was deadlocked and was neatly tucked under a leather bandana. He almost never goes without his captain’s hat even in the action figures that was designed in his likeness. His weapons were always consistent where he uses a pistol and a saber that he carries at all times. The great thing about the countless action figures that were patterned from Jack Sparrow is that it is presented in a number of fascinating stances. Some of these present him simply standing tall while others are of fighting stances.
