Between 2008 and 2010, Marvel has introduced a comic book series titled Kick-Ass under its Icon Imprint. The story revolved around Dave Lizewski, a 16-year-old teenage boy who wanted to make a difference in life by being a superhero. He learned things the hard way as he was constantly injured in the early stages of his self-made career. He aimed to make himself available to people who needed help and have done so by creating an online account under his namesake. He became an inspiration everywhere and people began to commit acts of voluntary heroism on their own. He then eventually crossed paths with Hit-Girl and Big Daddy, a father-daughter tandem who also fought crime. This was adapted in to a movie presentation that was released in 2010. While the main storyline was the same, there were some alterations in the protagonists.
As a result of the big hit of both the comic book series and the movie, action figure were developed and produced for the public. These quickly became a roaring cause for collectors to grab a piece despite the various controversies with regard to the violence and explicit language of both versions of Kick-Ass. However, the most popular pieces that you will find would only include Kick-Ass, Hit-Girl, Big Daddy and Red Mist – likely because these were the main characters in the story.
