Another creation of Tim Burton, Nine is a post apocalyptic story of a group of rag dolls out to save the world (the story is more interesting than it sounds). This film includes both sci-fi and fantasy. The lead character, Nine, is voiced by the talented Elijah Wood.
While there are obviously nine characters in the film, only two of them were created into action figures by NECA which holds license to the film. Those two dolls are 9 and 1. They are seven inches high and are built in exact likeness to how they were portrayed in the movie. It was released on July 2009. The toys each include a staff that is unique to their character. The toys are brown in color and made to look like a rag doll. Nine has a large zipper in the front of his body. 9 and 1 can be bought individually or as a set. There is no news as to whether or not the remaining seven characters will be made into action figures as well. This series is one of the easier series to complete as only two action figures are out so far. Only time will tell if it is popular enough to spawn more figurines.
