Sylvester Stallone is known as one of the best actors in the United States. His fame and reputation began after the success of his 1976 film, Rocky. Rocky Balboa was a small-town kid who was not gifted with education. He became a collector for Anthony Gazzo and a small-time boxer for the same employer. With much skill and determination, Rocky was able to prove that he was indeed a great boxer. He was randomly selected by an undefeated heavyweight champion to fight him professionally.
With the staggering and undisputed success of the film, fans from all over have gone to love “the Italian Stallion”. Action figures and other forms of memorabilia were created in his honor. Every single on of the action figures produced then and now were created in Stallone’s image. These were regarded as collector’s items for a long time. The film gained much popularity that they produced a sequel. The action figures that you will find will include a number of versions of Rocky Balboa. Some of these will present him in his greatest moments while others are graphically detailed to show facial injuries as a result of the final match. Other accessories are also available that would include a half-cut cow carcass on which Rocky practiced punches on before his match with Creed.
Brad – The first I thought was the best. How can you beat a Best Picture Ocsar? A true Cinderella story for Sly. The thinking was that the studio didn’t want Sly to play the lead. Can you imagine anyone else playing Rocky? Nothing more to add than that, you and Santana covered it pretty well.
The first one. Great picture, great acting. It was all downhill after that.
