Who could ever forget the name Al Capone? He was once a popular mobster in the early 1900’s. He received much fame and reputation that DC comics have adapted his persona as one of their villains in their books. The character has become more popular with the name Scarface. However, this was not where Scarface has received the fame and whose name has resounded throughout the globe. It was not until 1983 when Al Pacino portrayed the role of Tony Montana, a young Cuban refugee who found his way to Miami. He got entangled with mafias in the city and has become even more popular with the way he carried himself.
In the film and in the action figures that was closely based on Tony Montana, he was recognized by the signature pinstriped black suit. Other variations, including that on the posters and most of the action figures would present him to be wearing a crisp white suit. He became better known for always fashioning a Cuban cigar and a tommy gun. He gained even more popularity with his line “say hello to my little friend…” Other action figures also became available that included a number of other key characters in the film.
