The lovable characters of Shrek have become a household name in different parts of the world. Who is not familiar with the oversized green ogre Shrek, his lady love Fiona, the ever-talkative Donkey, and the charming but valiant Puss? Shrek was actually based on the children’s book written by William Steig. The name of the main character is derived from a German word, which literally means fear. Dreamworks Animation has recognized the potential of the storybook to be transformed into a hit movie, and therefore adapted it into a series of hit movies, the conclusion of which just recently came out in theaters.
