Shrek is a computer animated comedy film featuring the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, and in the latter movies, Antonio Banderas. The plot of the first film revolved around the simple life of an ogre who, like any other ogre in the land, wants to be left alone in his swamp. The first film released in 2001 was extremely successful that Dreamworks pictures decided to produce a sequel which was equally successful on the big screen.
Now a movie trilogy, Shrek is among the top animated money makers of all time, the fourth instalment is set to be released in 2010 or 2011 at the latest. Kids as well as adults have found this film appealing. The comedic genius of Eddie Murphy and Mike Myers, combined with the charm of Cameron Diaz make it very entertaining.
