Norrin Radd originally came from the planet Zenn-La where he vowed allegiance to Galactus. After providing him with the power and the silver surfboard-like vessel, he officially became the Silver Surfer. This character debuted in the Marvel Comics’ Fantastic Four series in 1966. He came to earth to complete the mission that Galactus has given him. This was where he met the Fantastic Four. However, with his defeat, he was exiled in a facility where Dr. Doom intervened greatly. After he escaped and found refuge among the four heroes who showed him the error of his ways, he turned in to an ally.
This is one of the most sought-out action figures among avid fans. This was especially applicable after he appeared in the feature film of the Fantastic Four. Though he is an alien from a different world, he has taken on a human form. The main point of distinction that he has is the fact that he is silver from head to foot. His craft that appears to be like a surfboard is also silver. Most of the action figures that you will find would have him either standing or in a gliding stance atop his board. Others would have the surfer’s craft separated from him.
