This well loved space epic produced by George Lucas became one of the most remembered and cherished series of all time. Since 1977, Star Wars has stepped up the level of filmmaking when it comes to visual effects and computer generated graphics. Star Wars films are set in fictitious galaxies and entities that have different structures than humans. The story revolves around the battle of the Jedis and the Siths to regain balance of the Force and how a Jedi can fight his father who is on the dark side.
An animated film, not part of the main trilogies was released in 2008. The film entitled “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” was done through 3D Animation; it now has a TV series also done through computer generated graphics.
Star Wars has also been published as video games since 1982. Role playing games, flight simulation in space, and first person fighting games were most of the games that were released and were loved by many of the fans. Trading cards and board games with Star Wars themes were also made available earlier than their video game counterparts.
