With the first ever game released in August of 1987, Street Fighter has become one of the well loved and popular fighting game series in video game format. Developed and published by Capcom, the fighting game consists of different characters with different strengths and masteries.
One of the most noted series of the game was a Versus series which had different versions being released in different years. The Versus series enabled Street Fighter Characters to fight with other video game characters of other games. The first ever Versus series, which was entitled Marvel Versus Capcom , included characters from Marvel’s The X-Men. Marvel Versus Capcom Series continued to release different versions, adding different characters and adding different types of game play modes.
The fourth installment of the Street Fighter Series was released on different platforms on different dates. A PC version of Street Fighter IV was released on July of 2009 with an expanded set of characters and back stories for each of them.
