The Chronicles of Narnia is one of the most popular fantasy novels ever written. It was created by C.S. Lewis. The series tells about a magical land called Narnia and of the children who find their way from our world to theirs. The books include eight children from our world and two from the world of Narnia. The movie on the other hand, concentrates on the four Pevensie’s and Prince Caspian. Most of the action figures inspired by the movie are of these characters and the other characters that reside in Narnia including Aslan the Lion and Mr. Tumnus the Faun.
A lot of toy manufacturers have created action figures of the Narnian figurines including NECA. They create high quality toys in the likeness of the characters as they were portrayed in the films. They are usually portrayed in their battle uniforms. Peter Pevensie usually comes with his signature shield which has a picture of a lion (probably representing Aslan) in its front. Robert Tonner has also created a collection of dolls of the Narnian children including that of Susan and Lucy who become Narnian Queens. Prince Caspian and Edmund are also some of the more popular characters made into action figures.
