Spiderman first appeared in 1962 in one of Marvel’s comics. It was not until 1984 when an unusual nemesis came along – Venom. Venom is a sentient alien that comes in a gooey viscous form that requires a host (body) for it to survive. The moment that it bonds to a human, it can immediately create an ultimate villain. This alien provides its host unusual powers and abilities that can truly turn even the kindest mind in to an evil being.
Regardless of whom this alien binds on, the person will be referred to as “Venom”. It first came across Spiderman and it did not take the hero long to realize its evil intentions. Spiderman rejected the alien where it eventually found Eddie Brock.
You will find Venom action figures that either depicts Spiderman for the duration of its influence or after it has influenced Eddie Brock – both come in an all-black suit. These action figures are distinct for its features. It has a devious face and has an extremely elongated tongue. Some are rather bulky in its physical appearance where the muscles are massive. You would know that it is the Venom Spiderman when you see the mutated spider logo on the chest.
